Hi! My name is Amy Taylor North. I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a proud Mom to two young men. I’m a Forsyth homeowner, an active community member in Forsyth County for over 20 years, and I’m so grateful to have called Clemmons, Lewisville and Winston-Salem home during that time. In 2008, I created a national healthcare magazine, and remain a successful small business owner. I’m passionate about our local North Carolina arts and performing scene.
My parents were rich in spirit and less-rich in financial resources.
My parents, my brother and I spent my childhood going to church every week, and visiting senior congregation members afterwards. My job was super important–I sat a spell on the porch with them for a good Southern Sunday visit, while Dad mowed grass or fixed things inside the house. I got my love of service early.
Western North Carolina is the best (and most beautiful!) place to live, work, and raise a family. I’ve got one son already out of college and a second one looking at them, so I’m doubling down to help build a safer North Carolina for all families, and where neighbors look out for each other.
